Dr. ALESSANDRA CORBETTA
The inclination to questions and to reflection, the search for meaning, the investigation on human being and the desire to get in touch with myself, others and the many realities, beliefs systems and worldviews that live, have always been the pillars of my existence, as well as the roots of my ethical, educational and professional choices.
In July 2017 I founded Chiron's Cave to cultivate what belongs to my existential project and put it to a good use. Sharing my own Weltanschauung (German term for "image, vision and conception of the world"), keeping it open to external inputs, new apports and developments, is my better effort.

Type of training and interests
Liberal arts education and philosophical training, predominantly of moral, aesthetic, anthropological and religious field with a secular and non-denominational approach. Particular attention is paid to the indological subjects and to the study of Jewish language, history and thought.
My personal philosophy is basic phenomenological-existentialist, so I deal with issues related to meaning, values, possibility, choice, freedom, responsibility and to the existential project of the individual (this one intended as unique and unrepeatable, with a personal worldview).
Where I have gained experience
Cultural area (especially related to the management and promotion of the book heritage - I worked for a year in a public library).
Educational area (thanks to private teaching to preadolescents and adolescents).
Business area (in the role of consultant, philosophical counselor and copywriter).
Bio-psycho-social area (in particular regarding the problems related to the use / abuse of new technologies, to prison detention and to frailty, exclusion and social marginalization phenomena).
